I'm seldom to be found without either my guitar, my camera, or my pen in hand. My songs, photographs and poems are my little star-bursts of oxygen in the vacuum of everyday. Great music is intoxicating, and to sing and play my guitar is the closest thing to blissful oblivion I know. Photographing the world is a compulsion - I want to grab hold of moments that affect me, create a microcosm in picture form. I love words, the power of them, the way they can provoke the strongest reactions and emotions. Words can cause revolutions, and can connect consciousnesses.

I have an exhibition of my photographs, at Scion House, Stirling University Innovation Park. The exhibition runs until Tuesday 24th February.
